It was a case of which box, eventually it worked for me. I am doing this for a friend who is trying to find her long lost pen pal, Dierdre Walker, the daughter of the following couple. So now I am seeking anything at all about Thomas and Gladys WALKER who lived at 56 McKindlay St. Echuca in 1963. Then Gladys alone at 56 Hume St. Echuca in 1968 and 1972. I think I have a death for Thomas in 1965 in Echuca (Ancestry AU death index) and one for Gladys age 85 in 2005 in Echuca, from a cemetery website. I would welcome anything that you can add. Did you try putting in Echuca instead of just Victoria? Can anyone help with this please, using the Australian Electoral Rolls at Ancestry, I am looking for a family by the name of WALKER who lived in Echuca in the 1960’s. I don’t know their first names, but I do have a street address, so I need to look at all the Walkers in the area, a simple search for WALKER and VICTORIA brings too many results. Hello all New to list I have a Mary Ellen Eastwood WILSON (nee DALLAS) also known as Ellen DALLAS marrying a Charles Frederick WILSON 1887 in Victoria and then known as Ellen WILSON Charles Frederick WILSON died in 1899 aged 34 and was buried in Melbourne General Cemetery with his infant daughter who died in 1889 so those two are in same grave and it is noted in trove that Mrs WILSON his wife is still alive. both Charles and Ellen were both born in 1864 in the UK No other record is known of her until her youngest son gets married in 1932 in Adelaide where he refers to his mother and father both being dead and of Victoria This means she died between 1899 and 1932 but i can not find a death registration or a burial for her anywhere or maybe she shacked up with another man after her husband died She did have one spinster daughter who also died here in South Australia aged 56 daughter of Charles and Ellen too If anyone can assist me I would be most grateful thank you John South Australia
