Hello Listers, From my TAIMOT CD I purchased years ago I have located the following: FITZROY Herbert (1867 - 1881) 14yrs - Pr: Colonel F & Maria Helena Fitzroy (4sn) - Accidentally killed. See: Fitzroy, Maria Helena - QUEENBOROUGH SANDY BAY (BOOK) - HOBART - HOBART - HO13/01175 FITZROY Maria Helena B: 10 Aug 1830 - D: 08 Jan 1906 - SP: Colonel F - Born at Clapham, England. Also: 1 other - QUEENBOROUGH SANDY BAY (BOOK) - HOBART - HOBART - HO13/01175 Does anyone know if any of the headstones survived and if in fact where they may have been placed please. I remember locating some a few years ago but cannot recall where exactly I did find them. I seem to be going around in circles today looking for them. Hoping someone may be able to assist. Hullo listers and all, There are heaps of headstones mounted on a wall beside a small footpath , whiuch originated from the Queensborough Cemetery, they are located in St.Davids Park off Davey Street , and better still in between the Hobart Supreme Court , to easy. Hi Graeme and all, The headstone surrounding the Supreme Law courts and on the edge of St. David's Park are only from those originally buried in St. David's Cemetery.  A list of the surviving headstones 1976, just before Richard Lord published his book Inscriptions in Stone, is listed in his book, and also from an earlier transcription circa 1920 as an appendix also published in this book. There were a small number of headstones in Peel Street, Sandy Bay near the entrance to the sports grounds of the Hutchins School (which are on the old Queenborough site).  I haven't been there for some time but they included one for a related Budd family.
