    3. That's a very good question. So far I've only found one native born Ann Walker around the required time frame (1829-1830). That's the one born to James Walker/Esther Tucker. Of course, with the Tasmanian records being 100% accurate, there could be others :-). The most accurate records are, of course, the churches and we'd need to go through the whole darned lot to see if there are others. So, what I'm saying is that there is a high probability that the Ann Walker involved in the court case is the daughter of James/Esther. There are some Ann Walkers that were convicts. None of them seem to fit, mainly based on age.
