Greetings, We're presently looking for the origin and ancestors of one Ann(e) Walker born about 1830. She took up with a Joseph Lawless and had three children as follows. 1. Mary Ann Lawless born 1854, died in childbirth 1871 2. Thomas Lawless born about 1857 from whom derive maost of the Lawlesses in Tas/Oz 3. Annie Lawless born about 1859 died 1939 from whom derive most of the Seabournes in Tassie/NZ. Annie had various partners, including George Seabourne. Ann Walker died in 1859 from complications arising from the childbirth of Annie. There is no marriage known. At her death, Ann was still Ann Walker. LINC has her inquest. Joseph's ancestry is well documented. That's about all we know. We do think that her parents were NOT the James Walker/Esther Tucker (James had been recruited in England as a private in the Vererans Corp 3rd Company) that arrived in Tassie from Sydney/England aboard the John Barry in 1826 with their sons James & John. James/Esther did have a daughter Ann, who married Joseph Beamer (there are spelling variants for Joseph's surname) who was a convict, had three children then took up with George Harwood (also a convict) and had about 12 more children between 1850 and 1870. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all kindly, Keith

Hi Keith, Just out of curiosity and elimination has the Ann Walker that was involved in the Supreme Court trial of 1843 for assault on the Irvine baby and later in 1844 herself being "assaulted" by one, Richard Bonner been identified with the individual that married Jacob Beemer in 1848? She's identified as native born aged 14 so born circa 1829 - https://stors.tas.gov.au/SC32-1-5 go to image 41 Cheers, Peter On Tue, Jul 3, 2018 at 9:48 PM <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hello keith , do you have any idea > or clue where Ann WALKER came from ??
