    3. I wonder if someone of the list is able to spare a little time to help me. I am looking for a marriage for this couple (William Orr & Eliza Irving) who had several children born at Launceston from 1888-1897 so I assume they married in Tasmania some time before 1888. My direct connection is through their daughter Nedelca Orr (1894-1946) who married Frederick William Wingrove 1912 at Underwood Tasmania and she later died in Parkville Victoria in 1946. I would really appreciate any help with Nedelca’s parents William & Eliza who it seems to appear remained in Tasmania. Many thanks, Barbara Corrigan.

Their daughter Catherine Calderhead ORR married William Henry JUDE at Holy Trinity Church in Launceston 02 Nov 1907, stating her age as 21 and her place of birth as Carlisle, Cumberland, England, UK. Source is LMSS224/1/16, the Holy Trinity Marriages, 1907, Reg No 100, Launceston LINC Reference Library. Hi, Barbara, The England & Wales Civil Registration Marriage Index lists: Elizabeth Irving & William Orrregistered;  Whitehaven, Cumberland, England registration year:  1878Registration Quarter:  Apri-May-Junevolume  10 b  page 891 this is consistent with what is shown on birth registration for son William Robert Orr in 1897.
