Hi Ken, Looks like Joseph Green got himself in a real pickle between his wife, Charlotte and Martha Winch. Can tell you he must have been a "free" person in the sense that he had served his time as a convict. On the 10 Aug 1861 Martha Winch laid an information against him for not paying maintenance on his illegitimate child. The article is in the Mercury of that date. Only a few Joseph Green in VDL pre - 1828 if he had a typical seven year sentence and married in 1835.
