Can any help me with the following According to TROVE an article on LAC A E DAVIS BURNIE Wed 28 Feb 1945 page 2 (Albert Edward Davis) The article mentions this fellow died Sunday in the Heidelberg Hospital (repat) at the age of 45 He was formerly a transport officer and National service Officer at Burnie, and later enlisted RAAF His wife (Ruby) and family came to the mainland, I am ok with that BUT I cannot locate his death on the Victorian Death Indexes and I tried the Inquest Index also came up blank I would love to know his outcome and his spouse Ruby? There are several Ruby Davis listed for Fawkner Any one have ideas as I would love extend the Davis family which started out with Thomas Davis marrying Elizabeth Hannah Williams Thanks for anything Elaine
