Hi Lyn, Are we talking about the gold mining area that was discovered 4 miles from Fingal in 1854? The earliest newspaper accounts use capitals for "The Nook" as being that particular spot 4 miles from Fingal. Later articles call it the 'Nook", so its probably one in the same spot. Would have relevance to locals but gets dumbed down by newspaper reporters??
