The core issue here is here is yes the BDM certificates are readily available online now but locating a certificate without knowing the year and registration number is really hard. Unless you have the TPI CD-ROM's or an Ancestry subscription your stuck !!. I can access Ancestry sometimes via the library subscription but otherwise I'm dependent on the great listers who will very quickly supply you with the details if you ask...
