I think it is likely that the witness Margaret on the cert is the mother of the Bride but with a new last name due to remarriage. The Bride is the Anna(Anne Haimes) above and I think it likely that the witness is her mother Margaret If I can work out her new married name then it will be a real break through for me and one that has had me stuck for some time. Margaret's husband Richard died in 1833 leaving her a widow.I have been unable to find a record for a new marriage for Margaret but it is possible that it could have taken place in either Tasmania, Victoria or South Australia as at least two of her son's moved inter-state.
