Hi once again, This time I am in need of help if anyone can find info on the following person John Bailey born some where in this world arrived either Hobart or Launceston aboard the Emma Eugenia but which voyage? He wasn't a convict but arrived as a free settler He married Sarah Driver or Divar as some records show She was the convict Married 1843 Launceston 4 kids 2 lived Victoria, but that is not what I am after I am after any ideas how or where John Bailey came and from where. His age seems to vary between 5-8 years I have his birth as being 1804, perhaps that is wrong, and the Tassie certs don't show parents not much help there either I have looked on Ancestry in the hopes some person uploaded the family, but unfortunately the person who did has since died. I have sent 2 messages in the hopes the spouse might see it, but nothing Have tried the new LINC for this person, He never left a will, not Sarah She was a drunk according the Trove newspaper article ! She died 1860 and John 1884 I am now wondering if he remarried, if so, to whom? Would love some help here after maybe 15 years trying to figure out this John Bailey Thanks for anything Elaine
