Hello List, Just wondered if anybody has come across this fellow ? Robert Wood married a Charlotte Watford on 21/10/1851 at the Independent Chapel in Brisbane street, Hobart. At this time Robert called himself a Shipwright, and by the time of his death on 10th Dec 1910 he was aged 80 years of age. I note there is a very likely Baptism for Robert on 27th Sep 1830, again in Hobart. In this baptism we see Robert's father is another Robert Wood, but a Stonemason. I'd like to hear from someone who could advise further on this Stonemason. It seems to me there area couple of likely parents for the Robert Wood born 7th Sep 1830 in Hobart: The Eliza Tilley one on 17th Dec 1829 or the Eliza Clark on 25th Aug 1834.
