    3. Dear list I have recently been looking in to some ancestors of mine in Tasmania namely a Richard HAIMES and Margaret MAHER who lived in Hobart and George Town in the 1830s. I have a long way to go on this however due to some similarities with another Richard HAINES Who died in the same year as my GGG Grandfather Richard HAIMES which was 1833 I found it helpful to look at this *other couple* and their family so I have gathered some information on them which I would be happy to share if anyone is interested now or if they pick up these crumbs at a latter time. *The other couple were*: *Richard HAINES* and *Ann* (possibly HUNTER or MIDWOOD) Richard HAINES died tragically in 1833 near Hobart Town. The couple had the following children: 1824 Eliza Midwood HAINES 1826 Emma HAINES 1829 Louisa HAINES 1831 Richard George HAINES It is likely that this couple had older children that were born before their arrival in Tasmania in the early 1820s please feel free to get in touch if you think you have a connection to any of these people Mabel
