Dear All, For years I've been trying to discover how and why 'my' Benjamin Cockerell died, but try as I might, with any number of permutations of his first and second names, I can't find him on the Vic BDM site, in order to buy his death certificate. I wonder whether one of you wonderful lateral thinkers can find him on a Vic CD for me please? Here's one of his many death notices popsted in Vic. and VDL newspapers: "At Kyneton, on the 18th instant, Benjamin, third son of William James Cockerell, aged 19 years, late of Circular Head, Van Diemen's Land." - The Argus, 25 August, 1852. Fingers crossed, Carol Brill.
