Hi Peter I would be very surprised if there was any authority in Port Davey at all, let alone a port authority. I don't think I have come across any record of actual settlement at Port Davey but I guess there may well have been but if so, it has been very long abandonned. Whalers and sealers used the harbour regularly during the peaks of those industries. I suspect most of the ships ended up in Hobart for re-supplying etc, so it would haved been much easier for the authorities to collect crew data etc there.
