Thanks much for reminding me about the "obit" being a Notice of Condolence....my mistake as I put it in the obit remarks in my file. Unfortunately, living in Nevada, I do not have access the the book on the Wagner family that Anthony referenced. Such are the constraints of doing long-distance research! But I am so very grateful for all the listers who give so kindly of their help!! A Notice of Condolence was made by the Council and at the following meeting the remark referring to the "19" children was made by a Councillor Ryan. Perhaps the book Anthony referred to would clear up who raised his son's children. Emma Jane remarried a few years later. cheers Sally From: Elaine Hanford Sent: Wednesday, October 01, 2014 12:13 PM To: Anthony Fletcher ; narnty Cc: AUS-Tasmania Roots web Subject: Re: [AUS-Tas] Help finding some missing Wagner children The obit clearly says he reared a family of 19....but then, this is a politician speaking and they traditionally do not let facts get in the way of a good emotional speech!! the obit is at: http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/151328319
