Hi List Carol's post caused me to look at what I have on the Gregory families. I have connections to Thomas Gregory via the Fishers and also to the Gregory family of Quarmby. I have heaps more to do on both lines but I found a little puzzler which someone may know something about. George Gregory (1834-1919)'s daughter, Elizabeth married ( 1036/1885) William NEWTON. Their eldest daughter was Holly Irene (can't find a birth). The puzzle is a certain George TIDEY (b.1891) who names Holly Clarke (nee Newton) on his army records as his next of kin (sister). I have no idea who he is of where he might come from. Any ideas? regards Sharon
