    3. Carol, he isn't on the Victorian CD, NSW both CD and online, and not on Tasmanian CD Death records. Maybe if you contact Kyneton cemetery they may have a record of his burial. sorry I can't help. 3. Carol, you might also want to check out the following website: http://www.heavenandhelltogether.com/?q=node/105 which states: Just under a year later Mary Ann, now in her early forties, had her last known child when Mary Celestine Carroll was born on 13 December 1851 in Horton, Tasmania. [?] The newborn would not have been aware of the death of her half-brother Benjamin Cockerell on 13 August 1852 in Kyneton, Victoria. [?] Benjamin "Lived at Circular Head with his mother before going to Victoria to join his brothers. Benjamin left Circular Head on the Alexander and arrived in Melbourne 29 July 1848. He died at Kyneton aged nineteen. No Death certificate has been found, nor the site of his burial, as the existing records for the Kyneton Cemetery start the year after his death Cheers, Elaine TAS Descendant in Reno, Nevada On Wednesday, September 3, 2014 5:23 AM, Patricia via <aus-tasmania@rootsweb.com> wrote: Carol, he isn't on the Victorian CD, NSW both CD and online, and not on Tasmanian CD Death records. 3. Thanks Elaine and everyone on the list who has written -This is my website and I wrote the article you quote from. It's also the information copied verbatim most times by a zillion others and placed all over the Internet. I'm now aware of the reason why I can't find Benjamin's death certificate now thanks to all those kind people who wrote about the July 1853 Vic. registration start date aswell. And, to add injury to insult, the local newspaper started the year after Benjamin's death as well. Best wishes, Carol.
