Hi Rod, William Appleby and Doris Parsons were married at the King Street Church, Hobart on the 1st March 1913. William Appleby's residence is Hobart, age 20, labourer, birthplace was Hobart. Parents are named as Henry Appleby, Labourer and mother Bridget Manion Stricklind. Doris Parsons parents are recorded as Robert Parsons and Ada Nunn. No sign of a matching birth for William Appleby circa 1893-94 to Henry and Bridget. Married Ashwood 1883 http://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD37-1-42p215j2k then Callan 1885 http://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD37-1-44p189j2k then Appleby 1889... Bridget Appleby died at Hobart Hospital aged 33 in 1896 - http://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD35-1-15p71j2k Henry Appleby was still alive in 1913 because he consented to Williams marriage to Doris. Possible death for Henry 1929. Some controversy over the will of this particular Henry regarding a trust fund? Hope that gives a bit more to work with...
