    3. Hi I am looking for an early Christmas present . I have for many years been searching for the death or re marriage of a Mary Ann Hill who was born in Tipperary Ireland abt 1827 as Mary Coughlan/Coghlin and many other spellings.She came to Tasmania as a convict on the Martin Luther 1852, In 1853 Mary married a Thomas Hill(possibly also a convict) this couple where to have 9 children all born in Macquarie St. Hobart.from Valuation Rolls Thomas lived in Macquarie St 1858 to 1872. Thomas HILL died in 1872.Mary hill was listed on the 1875 Hobart Valuation Roll Taylor's Rents between 175 & 169 Macquarie Street 175 Macquarie Street Denison Hotel value £52 owner John Turner Taylor's Rents owner John Turner valued between £5& £8 occupiers; Jonathan Clark, Frederick Butler, John Butler & Mary Hill, 2 empty. (John and Frederick BUTLER had married 2 of Mary and Thomas HILL”S daughters).About 1877 all Marys children moved to Bushy Park/ Gretna /Macquarie Plains area and returned to Hobart around 1903. There is a Mrs Mary Hill listed at living at 251 Macquarie St in 1891 Post Office Directory as she is in 1903/4 Can anyone help me with information on what happened to Mary ???
