Hi Barbara, Ivy Annie Louisa Pearce was born on 20 Nov 1915 at Charles Street, Moonah, parents as stated. Elaine Pearce was born on 4 Jan 1919 at Charles Street, Moonah, father not stated, mother Ivy Lydia Pearce nee Nilder. Moonah is a northern suburb of Hobart. No record of Albert c 1911, perhaps born before they reached Tasmania? This article may relate to Albert junior, or someone else with the same name? Albert Pearce, aged 14 years, ofMonah, was working at Cadbury's factory, Hobart, yesterday, when he caughthis hand in a machine which was making parts of cocoa tins. Ben. Lewis, 58 years of age, a labourer at the Zinc Works, was admitted to theGeneral Hospital about half-past 3 yesterday afternoon suffering from theeffects of a fall from a ladder. He wasfound to be suffering from an injury to the left shoulder and abrasions tothe left cheek. Shortly afterwards a lad named Albert Pearce, 14 years ofage, who resides at Derwent-park, wasadmitted to the same institution. Whileworking at Cadbury's Factory at Claremont, removing the bottom of a cocoatin from the machinery, his hand was caught and crushed. It made a hole inthe palm of his right hand, but didnot injure any of his fingers. Derwent Park is a suburb adjacent to Moonah.
