    1. [AUS-Tas] Correcting 'Family Links'

    3. Hi Listers I haven't taken any notice of the 'Tasmanian Family Links' data base on Tas Archive's web site for many years, but some-one has just pointed out to me that they have managed to mangle a set of my own g-grandparents (a g-grandmother is hitched to the wrong guy). On the web site it still says that the database is 'closed' and no corrections being made. Has anyone had any success in getting some of the errors corrected? If so, by what route? In my case, I have a newly published book that puts the issue beyond doubt, if that helps! Regards Malcolm Ward

    3. I would be really pleased if answers to Malcolm's posting could be made to the list, as I would also be interested in the replies. My family connections, set out at 'Tasmanian Family Links', have been completely scrambled in so many instances and, over the years, I have found a number of fellow researchers who have incorporated these errors into their own work, obviously without obtaining any verification (Smack!), and so these ridiculous inaccuracies are passed on, shared and perpetuated. 3. I'll have to check my ancestors to see if they are reported correctly. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
