Hello List I'm trying to help my neighbour with her Tree but have arrived at a dead end. I found a Tree on Ancestry which may be the link but I'm not certain. I wonder if I could have a lookup for Michael Francis Burke born at Brighton, Tasmania in 1865. The names of the parents would be ideal. This tree has him born 20 Sep 1865 and his death in Sydney as 1913, which I can't find. If someone has the CD's for Victoria could I also have a lookup for Mary May Burrows born 1872 at Kilmore, Vic. Her death is shown as 1952 in Sydney but there are a couple of entries for that year. I haven't found a marriage for them at this stage. Any help gratefully received. Laurette

Hi Laurette Michael Burke appears in my family tree. He was the youngest son of Michael Burke and Bridget Kehoe both from Ireland and married 12 Nov 1855 at St Josephs, Hobart. His birth was registered on 20 Sep 1865 as Michael Bourke, 121/1865. His wife died in Launceston at her daughter's home in 1952. I don't have a death record for him. Hi All, There seems to be some confusion about the parents of several Burke/Bourke children in a couple of earlier publications I have been given. Whilst these families are only twigs on my tree I would like to confirm the correct parents and wives for the following. Michael Burke born 20 Sep 1865 son of Michael & Bridget Burke nee Keogh. The book has Michael jnr. married to Anne Maria Pilkington and living Launceston. Thomas born circa 1862 married Catherine Healy (daughter of Edmond Healey/Healy and Mary Conway) parents recorded as Michael Burke & Bridget. I can find no records to support his parents were Michael and Bridget although he did live at Dromedary. Has anyone baptism records for Michael and Bridget's children?
