    3. Good Morning Can anyone give me links to the actual Convict records? I am trying to find more about this convict Samuel NELSON I found this online but I really would like to find the actual records for this man I have all his family i South Australia But nothing for Tasmania except this Grateful for anything at all Jill in South Australia Left Tasmania 1850 16 Jun Left Launceston for Adelaide S. Australia Aboard the ship Peri Later in life went on to Marry Maria Tunney a Irish Orphan girl sent to Adelaide SA under the Earl Grey Scheme. He was from Dromore Parish, Down, Ireland. Was also a head stockman at one of Australia’s largest merino sheep exporters in Australia in its day at Anlaby Station in South Australia, were most of his children were born. Died 1st March 1890 in Kooringa, Burra, South Australia. Pre transportation to Tasmania Was apprehended returning to Island of Newfoundland on grounds of desertion. Trialled 14 May 1843 at St. Johns Court in Newfoundland. This can be found on his record found with the Tasmanian Archives. 25 August 1843 he is located on census within a Prison Hulk Ship in Portsmouth, UK. Ship "Leviathian"
