Hello all. I have recently photographed a headstone which reads "In Loving Memory Of Isabel, Wife of Hedley Westbrook, Whicamp Bellerive, Obit 14th Feb 1936" This headstone is located at Cornelian Bay Cemetery amongst the headstones relocated from Queenborough. However I understand that Queenborough was closed circa 1923. Isabel has a Memorial Window at St Matthews Church Rokeby and her husband Hedley Westbrook is buried at Rokeby. I cannot find a record of death or burial for Isabel Westbrook on the SMCT list, TAMIOT or anywhere else. Why is her headstone placed amongst the Queenborough Headstones? I am distantly related to Hedley Westbrook and this anomaly has me puzzled. Donald Reid Sunny Kingscliff.
