The book is called 'On Radji Beach' and is an account of the escape of Australian nurses from Singapore at the time of the Japanese invasion. In one chapter it describes the execution of the nurses and tells how Vivian Bullwinkle survived the shooting. Unfortunately I don't have the book here - lent it out several years ago and it hasn't been returned. But the book is excellent. Regards Paul Mulquiney
