Thanks to the access to old photos of Tasmania on the LINC website, 19C townscapes and buildings can be seen before 20C changes took place. Here's a link to a panorama over Launceston in 1870, starting from Cameron St on the RHS (idenifiable because of the military sentry boxes at the entry to the barracks at the W end of Cameron St). The former Market Square, now largely occupied by Harvey Norman, is also visible, with William Street as the northern border.
