Could the boys have been baptised at Port Arthur at that Church there. Or close by. The entry may not be online, but at the archive. George Joseph may have been born in Hobart and his baptism (I doubt birth registration) may be tucked away in one of the Hobart registers? You would think there would be some ongoing records for pupils at Hutchins so still could be some more information about the boys over the years of their Education there. If it was a boarding school they maybe were left there when the father was posted, like they would have done had they stayed in Ireland. Later Andrew, George and Andrews father was bankrupt as a farmer. Rose, It may be worth your while to see what the archivist of Hutchins have. It may have more on the birth of George, though it already states 6 March 1842, but may give other clues. http://central.hutchins.tas.edu.au/sites/dharchive/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/SitePages/Home.aspx Edie ------ Original Message ------ From: "eamca1944@bigpond.com" <eamca1944@bigpond.com> To: "AUS-Tasmania@rootsweb.com" <aus-tasmania@rootsweb.com>; "eamca1944@bigpond.com" <eamca1944@bigpond.com>; aus-tasmania@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, 17 May, 2019 At 2:39 AM Subject: Re: [AUS-Tas] Re: STUART, George Joseph You would think there would be some ongoing records for pupils at Hutchins so still could be some more information about the boys over the years of their Education there.
