Hi Elaine, It doesn't seem that it is. The marriage, which you can look up on the Tasmanian Names Index, Libraries Tasmania, is in 1896 for William BURKE and Julia FAHEY. On the birth entries (TFI & TPI) the father is named William Henry BURKE and the mother Julia Anastasia FAHEY. HI Elaine, I dont live near Sheffield, it is between me an Devonport. As for Tassie being too cold, I dont mind it, as it is Gods own country. It makes up for the cold by being a lovely place to live. I was born in pre war London, having been back three times two working holidays and seen a lot of Uk, Tasmania reminds me of England, Ireland , Scotland Wales and I love it. We don't have the weather extremes of the mainland. I love the friendliness of the Tasmanian people and lifestyle. Nice place to bring up kids. Sure there are some downsides, but the most important ones are here. All I want anyway.
