Looks like her father George Henri Vogt was German. The name seems to have gone to Foght in Marys time, Elaine. Doesnt mention your Ellen except for her birth maybe she married on the mainland. I am presuming you have a married name for her if not maybe she died an infant. We have the same problem with our Duncan McArthur, his birth but then nothing. Elaine, there are a few posters on the ancestry message boards to do with George Foght and his wife Charlotte Williams some are few years old but may have more info now. You may be able to write to some of them. I note there are three on the Public trees of ancestry also researching the family. None of them mention Ellen Louisa Williams. I wonder if she did die an infant and hasnt a grave. I noted George was supposed to be buried in the Sandy Bay Cemetery but no mention in a search so maybe no headstone. Mary and Edward had 14 children though I saw a figure 15 children,. You would know all that, I would think. Are you just interested as to what became of her, or is she a mother of one of your direct family? All other family members appear to have a birth and death date, except for Ellen Louisa who has a birth date of 14th May 1882, Hobart, then nothing.
