Have another query re the Williams tree, this one is a little tricky William born about 1847 hobart to William Williams (1821) and Caroline Elizabeth Pearsall. Williams birth date from TPI most likely a baptism plus another un named female child on same date no clues what so ever Have tried Trove, Ancestry, its a case of help! Hello Elaine, If the birth for William junior was listed on the TPI it "should" be on the archives website. However, there of course, could be a baptism lurking somewhere, not digitised. Or he may never have been either registered or baptised. I could not find a child born with Caroline Pearsall as a single parent. I can only find these. Mary Ann Maria - 1844 https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD33-1-2-p531j2k Unnamed female - 1849 https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD33-1-3-p211j2k Edwin - 1853 https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD33-1-4-p568j2k However, I did find this birth of an Edward WILLIAMS, with mother Caroline named only in 1846. Female Convict, Melville St. https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD33-1-3-p076j2k And a Robert WILLIAMS in 1849, to a Mary Anne, Female Convict, Cascades. There are other such Convict Women births after that date. The first digitally recorded William WILLIAMS is in 1861 in Longford to different parents.
