A google lookup found this family of Quin who were part of the Apslaw, Swansea family. It appaears the early marriage took place at Glamorgan in 1880, the family did finish up in Apslawn. maybe some baptisms are at Buckland, or Springbay as wll as Glamorgan. I know that for a fact as i used to stay with a friend of mine I worked with in Launceston and she used to invite me to stay with her. Some where near Bicheno.. tI was a large homestead type of house. My fiiends father worked on the estate..My friend was an only child so none of her family would live on he estate these days. I haven't seen nor heard from her for years but wouldnt mind betting the family still live there. Looked between 1915 and 1920. Of note is that in the 1949 Electoral Roll for Evandale Betty Quin is living with Reuben and Clara Ann Quin (grandparents??) at Quarantine Road. In the obituary of Leslie Hilton Quinn in 1953, son of Reuben and Clara, Betty is referred to as 'sister of...' and further in the death notice Leslie is refered to being brother of Evelyn and Betty?
