They then moved to Tasmania & William had a property called ‘Lowlands’ ain the outskirts of Richmond. The family have a long history back in England of brewing & they also operated a lot of mills both in England & Tasmania. So whether the children went to school in Launceston or Oatlands I don't know. I found an ad in the Launceston Examiner in 1891 where Clara was selling her drapery and fittings two years after the birth of her youngest child. I will keep trying . John Salmon is also identified as Farmer in the 1889 birth of their child. So did Cecil go to one of the schools near Charles Street or was that only his mother's shop location and he actually went to a school near where the farm was?
