Just a heads up for those in the north of the state Dear LHS members Don’t forget that the Launceston Historical Society meeting this month is a week earlier than usual – *this Sunday 14 April at 2pm!* *Maureen Martin Ferris* will be speaking on the colonial author and artist *Louisa Anne Meredith*. See the attached poster for more information. Louisa’s two books, *Some of my Bush Friends* *in Tasmania,* will be on sale for $45, the usual price is $65. The Glamorgan Spring Bay Historical Society reproduced the two volumes into one book in 2015. Maureen will be chatting on ABC Radio with Joel Rheinberger tomorrow morning – *Saturday 13 March at around 7.20am* or so. Bring some money on Sunday to buy tickets for our *bumper Easter raffle* – three prizes of Easter eggs are up for grabs.
