Hi Maureen, Havent got a clue what to do with it. I have always wanted to use these records though. I went into the Home Offce page but the refernce I need isnt available,, ie The Roll 91, class and Piece number HO11/13 page number 160, British Convict Transportation Registers 1787-1867 database, I need according to the Founders and survivors, Website, gives the reference from the Joint copying project, doesnt seem to be mentioned,in the databases you have sent. Not for the year sI need at least. How will I go about obtaining that one. Do you have to send to Queensland, or does ones local library already have them. As i said I have never sent for anything but have thought about doing so for many years, out of curiosity to see what extra can be gained. I need William Wells, from the Triton, or, the reference number above is what I need for him. I hope to pick up any clues other than what is available on libraries tasmania online. Thanks for some advise. Edie All major Archive Offices and probably major libraries will have the complete AJCP microfilm collection; not sure where you are but TAHO in Hobart certainly does. You need to look at the Guides first to work out the film you need. Like most things, it will take one or two visits for you to get the hang of it. In time all the AJCP material will be digitised and on-line - they are imaging at a furious rate. I think their scheduled completion time is mid next year. It's a digitisation project on a par with Trove newspapers. Thank you Malcolm, I have a Roll number not sure if that is the same as film No. I may be able to get to Hobart in April, so may get to look this up. I am in Burnie, so I doubt we would have it. I seem to recall many moons ago, that we would need to order them in. I never really needed them then.
