You may have to add LAREY, LARCY and LACEY into the mix, not to mention ELEARY. Some of my (O)Leary's were transcribed as such, due to misinterpretation of the beautiful old form copperplate handwriting. In the first three cases, the name was clearly (to me) written as LAREY, a phonetic rendition of an Irish accent. The letter "a" joined to the letter "r" with its curl at the top left-hand corner going on to form like the end of an "n" seems to have confused the transcribers. How the ELEARY happened, I still don't know for sure. I haven't seen the original document.
