Hi Listers I'd love to hear from anyone with knowledge of Thomas BIRD and Isabella WALKER who married at St Andrew's, Hobart, on 21 May 1838 (4189/1838/36). Later, they moved to NSW where they had a large family. I believe Thomas was 2nd mate on 'The Brothers' (Robert Towns, Master) on its 1835 voyage to VDL. Hi Don, Do you know who Isabella's parents were? I have Walker's from Scotland and am looking for siblings of my great grandmother Jane, born Bothkennar, Scotland. Her father John came from Delmaney in Scotland but they moved to Bothkennar in the 1830's.
