    3. Hi Carol, May or may not be a searchable lead for "your" Thomas Wright but in the CSO3 index (Arthur Period) there is a Thos. Wright - application for land, file 9435. The file appears in this volume and doesn't appear missing - http://search.archives.tas.gov.au/default.aspx?detail=1&type=I&id=CSO1/1/420 Could tell you the ship he arrived on, where he hailed from and what properties he bought to the colony with him? Seemingly a "well to do" Esquire I guess land application would be a quite natural thing to do? What year did William Longshaw marry in Hobart? I can only find Francis William Longshaw marrying in 1894?
