Sometimes known as James Morrisson , he is the ‘out of wedlock’ son of Mary Morrison nee Quill and John McNamara Mary Morrison lived for many years in the Morrison family home at 13 Allison Street, West Hobart near the corner with Lansdowne Crescent. His step brother, yrs older, went whaling off NZ and working as a stone mason in Stawell.
