    3. Is anyone on the list able to tell me when the two storey Odd Fellows Hotel at 21 West Barrack Street closed please. I believe it was later converted to a shop and is now in the hands of an accounting firm. At some stage a fire went through resulting in it now being only one storey. Thanks in anticipation. Sandra.

    3. There is some info on the Odd Fellows Hotel at: http://www.environment.gov.au/cgi-bin/ahdb/search.pl?mode=place_detail;place_id=12478 but unfortunately no history is given other than it was registered in 1978. 3. I have accessed a record of Queenborough Burials/Transfers to Cornelian Bay previously. Unfortunately I now cannot find my reference [I am currently emerging from a "Crypto Virus" attack on my computer. My memory suggests that I used the State Library. May I suggest that an on line Request for Assistance to that worthy institution may be worthwhile. I know that I was able to find particulars of a re-internment from Queenborough to Cornelian Bay without difficulty. Regards Barry R. 2. Dawn Webb via
    3. There is a gap between when the ship has been given permission to leave at a certain time (enter out) and then, when it has actually gone - maybe the gone might be when it clears the heads of Port Phillip if it sails from Melbourne, for instance. Hobart - might be when it leaves the mo0oring or when it reaches open seas ie is out of the river if applicable. That is the cleared out. It is GONE for sure, not just probably going to go. 3. I'd suggest not Dolly! She died in the early 1860s aged 50 odd. That would have been a bit early for tin types as well. This subject is younger and could be a daughter. Her profile could have been high enough that she would have had a tin type -----Original Message----- From: aus-tasmania-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:aus-tasmania-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Helen Brown via Sent: Friday, 29 August 2014 9:25 AM To: woodart@woodart.com.au Cc: aus-tasmania@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [AUS-Tas] Can you help solve ? - Mystery Tin-type c1870 portraitpossibly from Tasmania Or one of Dolly's daughters? 3. Hello Elaine There is a list of those transferred to Cornelian Bay from Queenborough on the Memorial Wall at Cornelian Bay. The wall and some Queenborough headstones are opposite the War Cemetery. The list is extensive but is on stainless steel and hard to read - even harder to photograph. Incredibly when I enquired at Millington's office they were not able to supply me with a paper copy of the list. Donald L Reid.
