Hi, I would love to hear from anyone who has any information on any of the family of WILLIAM PRESNELL who came to Australia as a convict on BARWELL in 1798. He then went to Norfolk Island where he was 'married' to ANN FOWLER. They, and 3 children, then went to Tassie on the City of Edinburgh. Two of the children were ELIZABETH and THOMAS but I am unsure of the identity of the third. They also had a fourth child, SARAH, probably shortly after their arrival in Tas. Several of William's relatives later followed him to Tasmania. These included his 86 year old mother, also SARAH, and brothers and nephews who included THOMAS, JAMES, JOHN, ABRAHAM and WILLIAM. If anyone has info on any of these people or their ancestors or descendants or other members of the family I would welcome the opportunity to compare notes. Regards, Sharon.
