Hello Everyone I am searching for information on members of my first family, John Dobson and his daughter Mary Ann who was born about 1811/14 in Tasmania. I known that Mary Ann moved to Victoria about 1837, married Charles Ledgerwood in 1847 and died near Melbourne in 1864. I know nothing about John and Mary Ann's early life in Tasmania, the place where she was born or where her parents came from or how they came to be in Tasmania (Free Settlers, Convicts, a Sailor or Military?). If you have information to share with me I would be pleased to hear from you, or perhaps someone could lookup a BMD cd for Tasmania and let me know the details. Thankyou Jeff Arnold
