Dear Viv, Which Clark's' book are you referring to? We have looked at so many over the years. Be glad to know of one we may have missed. Unfortunately, it is also possible that our Clark was an alias. The name could have been PEEVOR (or anything else for that matter.) He was rumoured to be a brother of James Clark of Ellendale, who was a Peevor. Regards, Wynnette. ----- Original Message ----- From: Viv <viv@microtech.com.au> To: <AUS-TAS-SURNAMES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, April 07, 2002 10:02 PM Subject: [AUS-TAS-SURNAMES] clarke book > Perhaps your Ellusive Clarkes may appear in the family of Clarkes book in > your local library > > > > ==== AUS-TAS-SURNAMES Mailing List ==== > Please link your webpages to the Tasmanian Convicts Webring - let's unite!!!
