Hi Sharon, On a family sheet I received on the ADAMS Family who came from Tasmania, Albert ADAMS was my ggrandad, there was a note on the botton which reads:- Ann Thomasine ADAMS ( Alberts mother) married a second time to Edward PRESNELL , son of John and Eleanor (nee SKELTON) PRESNELL, who had a Inn at Anthill Ponds called the "White Hart Inn" The PRESNELLs arrived in Hobart on the "Midas", 12/1/1821. The Inn was situated on 300 acres at Antill Ponds district Green Ponds, Tasmania. This is all the information I have and I have not been able to get any more and I was wondering if this family could be contected to your PRESSNELLS. You may even be able to add to the bit about the Inn, whether it did or still does exsist and where Anthill ponds is.
