Dear Sue] I am back from holidays. Sorry for not replying earlier, been trying to get back to normal after the girls are back at school. Thank you very much for the photocopies you sent me. On studying the information it would appear that these records are for the Scottish William Walkingshaw as this person was tried at Edinburgh. I don't know if you kept copies but up in the left hand corner it says Tried - Edinburgh (I can't read the next two words). Does this mean Edinburgh, Scotland. Also on Elizabeth's convict records it states her mother's name as Ann and not Margaret and her native place was London. It do believe there was another William Walkingshaw. What do you think.
