Hi Jeff, Fantastic!! My husbands 4th grt grandfather Thomas CRAWFORD was aboard the Southworth as a 19 yr old convict. The Old Bailey trial says he was 16 (he may have lied) in the January 1830 but his transportation papers in the same year say 19 ? Your Charles LEDGERWOOD and Thomas would no doubt have known each other !!!Thomas was from Curtain Rd Middlesex. He stole (supposedly as he denied it at his trial) 14lbs of candles. Could you see if he is mentioned please. Many many thanks for that. Can I help you in any way? I have a lot of cds.
