    3. Hi Les, There was an Ann Murphy came on the Mary Ann arriving 19/3/1841 Roger aged 21 married Ann aged 21 on 29/7/1844 in Hobart reg no 1194 They had a daughter born in Avoca on 29/3/1845 reg 1233 named Jane Pitt. I do this sort of lookup for people. I photocopy the convict conduct record, then look up information on the indent, description list, musters, appropriations list and any other relevant info. I can then look up the Tasmanian Pioneer Index for information on birth, death, marriages. I can also make copies of these. There is also a series of cards with other information on them at the Tasmanian archives. Wills can also be looked up. The cost for overseas is when you have received the information from me, you then send some new/used stamps from anywhere round the world to my niece and nephew here in Tasmania. This saves me having to change cheques or IRCs. It usually costs $1.10 per photocopy and most people send about $5 Australian to do a complete lookup through me, but if you go to the archives of Tasmania they will charge about $20 for an hours work. I go to the archives of a Thursday evening and the last Saturday of the month, so you should get your info within a month. If you want me to add you to my lookup list, please return email me with your snail mail address and what you want me to lookup for you and what to photocopy.
