Sorry Diane, Can't be more explicit. Roger Pitt was born in Tas according to an entry in the Tas Archives website but no parents cited. Its an [f] entry which means someone submitted it. He married an Ann Murphy then reappears in Victoria married to Ann Quinn. If it is the same man he emigrated to Geelong 1845 but no record of his wife (or daughter Jane) coming with him.
