    2. dhrg
    3. Hello everyone My three convicts were all transported from Somerset, England, at the same time!: Richard RODGERS, born c. 1795; and Joseph RODGERS, born c. 1818; John RODGERS, born c. 1817. They were my great x 4 Grandfather and two of his sons, of whom John was my great x 3 Grandfather. They lived in Farrington Gurney, Somerset, at the time of their crime, which was sheep stealing, and they all had the alias surname of HODGES. They were convicted at Wells in the Spring Quarter Sessions of 1845, and sailed on the Equestrain (2) in 1845. If you are interested to read any further details, please take a look at: http://website.lineone.net/~sgrist/ChiversGenealogy/Rogers/index.htm Would love to hear from anyone who has any of the descendants in their tree.
