Roll Call McCANN Mark born approx 1818/1820 Ireland native place Delamere (can't locate this place) County Antrim (can't find a birth ) Roman Catholic Farm Laborer Tried Fort Beaufort, Cape of Good Hope 26Jan1846 7years Transported for insubordination & offering violence to Supt Dunbar 7th Dragoons (after periods in prison & 150 lashes) Arrived Tas 18May1846 on the ship Mona (can't find info on ship or voyage) His wife Sarah aged 40 (can't find birth or marriage) & daughter Mary aged 10 (can't find birth) residing in Louth Lincolnshire England came out to be with him. A Mark McCann died Launceston aged 40 26Nov 1858 (think this is him). 1863 Sarah remarried one George BRACKENBURY - transported for 14 years via ship Mangles 1835 Daughter Mary Ann married William Ridgers 1856 Bothwell.     3. Hello Christine The family name of Delamere is found in the Antrim area in Ireland but I can't find a town.
